Chuck Schumer fibs about White House ballroom, JB Pritzker denies his own Hitler comparisons and more

Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions

This tweet:

We say: Leavitt did say the White House ballroom is President Trump’s “main priority” but only in answering a question on whether he’s eyeing other White House renovations.

By obsessively taking words out of context and spreading flat-out lies to attack Trump, Schumer & Co. sure makes it look like they can’t come up with legitimate criticisms.

This claim:

“I haven’t suggested that Donald Trump is Hitler.” — Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Monday

We say: Seriously? The guy can barely talk about Trump without comparing him to Hitler.

Sure, he’s sly about it: He merely alludes to the “authoritarian” in the White House, often without citing Trump by name, or notes how the situation in America today is like that of “Nazi Germany.”

But the implications are always obvious — and Pritzker knows it. His wormy “denial” is as vile as the smear itself.

This charge:

“Trump is refusing to negotiate . . . [because] he thinks he can exercise king-like powers.” — Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Sunday

We say: Please. If Murphy really believes that, why did he and fellow Democrats shut the government?

Do they want Trump to act like a “king”? Remember, the prez and GOP were happy to keep the democratic status quo; it’s the Dems who insist on the disruption.

This remark:

“It is racist when you have black babies being thrown in the back of vans, zip-tied in the middle of the night.” — Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Wednesday

We say: No one, certainly not Team Trump, is kidnapping and zip-tying any babies, black or otherwise.

Johnson has not even a shred of evidence for his unhinged anti-ICE rant.

Federal agents are nabbing illegal-immigrant criminals, generally adults, and yes their kids might go with them.

But that’s neither racist nor improper: In fact, Americans back the deportations 2-1, per a new JL Partners poll — including 58% of Democrats.
